EXCELLENT Based on 505 reviews Posted on LR SourceMarch 28, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The crew was friendly, efficient and did a nice job. The house looks great!Posted on katy knutsenMarch 25, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent experience start to finish! I sent a request for a quote on Sunday and made a note on my calendar in case I didn't hear. Received a" thank we will get back to you in 24 hours" email. I had an email and a phone call by 10 the next morning. I explained I would like to be there or talk to the estimator. Brian called me about .20 minutes later. I explained what I was hoping for and I had an estimate by that afternoon. Easy to read with options for add ones if I should choose. I marked what I wanted and had an appointment by end of day for them to perform the work! I was given an option to have an earlier appointment 2 days later which I declined. Communication was excellent through the whole process! Guys showed up today, worked hard and my roof looks beautiful as my gutters and the outside of my windows! They worked right along, tidied up very nicely and were on their way. Polite, clear communication. I would absolutely use Cornerstone again!Posted on Leah OsowkiMarch 23, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It's our second time using them and we will gladly use them again in the future.Posted on Steve DeliganMarch 13, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL POST: The next day the company sent out one of their supervisors to clean up the job from the previous day. He ended up having to repeat the entire job, by hand, by himself. He was here for almost five hours rectifying all the weirdness from the first day. It looks fantastic now! It’s sad that they had to do the job twice. The house now looks great and like it should have the first time. We had to spend an entire extra day ourselves hanging out at the house and making calls and making sure it all worked out instead of our other obligations. We now have to bill the estate for an extra day of our time. ——————————- Original post: Frustrating company to work with. PROS: The two-person crew showed up on time. The lead guy was great. He worked hard and knew what he was doing. He pressure washed until the equipment failed. CONS: The second guy in the crew was supposed to wash the windows. He missed several windows altogether. Completely forgot them. Then on about half of the others he did really poor job and we had to have them back out. He also did NOT wipe up the drips on the window sills from his squeegee! It was weird because we showed him the water and he said “Oh… yeah… ok” and then immediately forgot to wipe up the rest. See my picture. About twenty window sills all were left muddy. Honestly, it was weird of him not to simply run a towel over them. In the end, we could tell the windows that he had forgotten altogether by the fact that there was no mud left on the sills (and because they were still dirty). Then in the master bathroom he had to stand in the tub to get to the window but then left dirty drips all over the window sill and the tub. I feel sorry for the poor guy that he isn’t able to clean windows properly but we’re also paying a lot of money to get the house ready for sale and now have an extra job to line up. Secondly, the lead guy who was working really hard also had to deal with the broken-down equipment that the company makes him use. We felt bad for him and the company should spend a bit more on their equipment and perhaps a bit less on their branded trucks. The pressure washing blasted a bunch of dirt up into the outside walls which wasn’t cleaned up. The lead guy also felt bad because we asked him if he could pressure wash the porch (small area that apparently wasn’t part of the original estimate) and we said we would obviously pay for it. He said he had time but wasn’t allowed to by company policy until another estimator came out to price the job. Lead workers should be able to make small adjustments to the jobs while on site. It would mean more money for the company and avoid two additional trips (one for the second estimate and one for the small job). This guy was more than capable of giving an accurate estimate and the company should respect his judgment. This isn’t his fault. We picked them based on a recommendation from our realtor. She said that this level of poor job is unusual from them but couldn’t believe the pictures we showed her. Overall we really liked the lead guy, but the second guy can’t clean windows and the company responses have been frustrating. It wasn’t until after we sent pictures that they agreed that the job was not completed. Will update after their second try.Posted on Bryan ForemanFebruary 26, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Roof Cleaning Frequently Asked Questions
Why do roofs need cleaning?
Roofs accumulate moss, algae, and organic residue that can trap moisture, accelerate shingle wear, and shorten roof lifespan. Regular roof cleaning removes this buildup and improves performance while extending life.
How often should roof cleaning be done?
Most roofs benefit from cleaning every 1–3 years, depending on tree coverage, moisture exposure, and local climate conditions.
Can roof cleaning damage shingles?
No — when professionals use soft washing, which applies cleaning solutions and low-pressure rinsing rather than high pressure that can strip granules or damage roofing materials.
Is moss removal necessary or just cosmetic?
Moss removal is both cosmetic and preventative. Moss holds moisture against the roof surface, accelerating deterioration and creating potential leaks over time.
When is the best time for roof cleaning in Washington?
Spring and fall are ideal because winter rain leaves organic growth behind that can be removed before heavy wet seasons set in, helping protect your roof.
Is moss on my roof actually a problem or just ugly?
It is a real problem. Moss holds moisture against shingles, which shortens roof lifespan and increases leak risk.
Can roof cleaning help my roof last longer?
Yes. Removing moss and algae can significantly extend the life of roofing materials.
Will roof cleaning void my roof warranty?
No, when done using manufacturer-approved soft washing methods.
Why does my roof grow moss faster than my neighbor’s?
Shade, tree coverage, roof orientation, and airflow all affect moss growth.
How long does roof cleaning last?
Professional roof treatments typically slow regrowth for 1–3 years.
Is roof cleaning safe during cooler months?
Yes, when performed under proper weather conditions by professionals.
Is it cheaper to clean a roof or replace one?
Cleaning is far less expensive and helps delay the need for replacement.
